Kaleidoscope dreaming

Yes, these are photographs—and no, they weren’t created by AI.

This project is an experiment in geometry, and perception. I began with my own photographs and used a digital tool to repeat and mirror elements of each image, transforming them into patterns that could be used for fabric or wallpaper.

One of the features is a kaleidoscope effect. The possible variations were almost endless, and that abundance quickly became overwhelming. The real challenge wasn’t creating options, but making choices—finding the right balance between shape, color, and detail. Too much information can distract the viewer; too little can flatten the image.

My goal was to create compositions that feel visually engaging without being overpowering, and invite you to start the conversation. So what do you see?
